A New Team Member (February 2004)

We are thrilled to welcome a new Audiologist to Winnipeg Hearing Centres. Jim Selinger has joined our Clinical Team and will provide professional services at our 2385 Pembina Highway Centre.

Jim is a born and bred Manitoban who brings 29 years of experience as an Audiologist to our family of hearing care professionals. His impressive past achievements include:

• 10 years as Senior Audiologist/Manager of the Audiology Program of Stanton Regional Hospital/Health Board (Yellowknife)

• 4 years as Director of The Hearing Conservation Program of Manitoba Health

• 7 years with Manitoba Health as Senior Audiologist with the Westman Regional Hearing Centre in Brandon.

Jim holds the notable distinction of having served as the President of the Manitoba Speech and Hearing Association. He is a member of the Manitoba Speech and Hearing Association, the Canadian Academy of Audiology, and the American Academy of Audiology.

In addition to his wealth of experience in the hearing health care field, Jim brings the perfect friendly professionalism that is so highly valued by our customers and our organization to his new position.
